Easter SUNday

Beautiful Easter weekend here!

B is 9 months old - First feel of sand between her toes...and in her diaper...and in her mouth.

Can't tell it from this picture, but they DID have fun hunting eggs.

The Boy is Four

A is 4 years old. How did this happen? Did I blink? I can remember his birth day, every single detail.

I can finally stop holding my breath while watching the weather forecast. This year, unlike last year when it was cold and sprinkling, we were greeted with a cloudless blue sky and full sun so we were able to have the party outside. It was a racecar theme, and we set up an obstacle course "race track". It was a hoot watching A and his preschool buds run through, and sometimes INTO, each obstacle over and over.

The bounce house is always a hit.

Snow. Melt. Slush.

The snow seems to be on its way out, although more is in the forecast this week. It's been warm enough to melt most of it. In the meantime...

Somewhere in Carlisle, there's one hardcore, devoted runner. S found this at Dickinson's track.

Early February found us all sick with some flu-type something. Six days of being cooped up and trying not to reinfect one another. Good times.

Thankful that the snow melts and still leaves some fun behind

Snowmageddon aka Winter Powerhouse aka a Whole Lotta Snow

B is 7 months sweet

We got 18" of snow!

All tears having to wait her turn on the "run"

Overestimating the snow's density. Oops! S got the wind knocked out of him, but he was okay.

A Hand-Me-Down of a Different Sort

The Best Hand-Me-Down Ever: A making C laugh when she was 6 months old followed by C making B laugh when she was 6 months old. Music to a parent's ears.

Hershey Park and a Snow Storm

We took the kids to Hershey Park's Christmas Candylane. The kids had a lot of fun despite the cold temps, and we all seemed to tire out about the same time.

B almost 6 months old

This was C's first ride. She didn't mind sitting in it, but she became very unhappy once it started moving. Thankfully, they stopped the ride right away so she could get off.

Thanksgiving 2009

Happy Thanksgiving! We kept with our family tradition of running in the Carlisle Turkey Trot (10K) on Thanksgiving morning. It was a record turnout from the community this year. It was great to see lots of friends and their families out there. It's always a nice way to start off the holiday season.

Happy 2nd to the 2nd!

Happy 2nd birthday, Beanie!

Birthday, Baptism and Bonding

Megan's dad, brother and sister-in-law came in for a week long visit. During the week, we celebrated Megan's 36th birthday and B's baptism and introduced our newest additions to their aunt and uncle.

Megan's brother and sister are B's godparents, but the godmother wasn't able to be with us for the ceremony.
