Bethany Beach (Sept 2009)

We took a nice, week-long vacation to Bethany Beach, DE. We stayed at a condo in the Sea Colony Resort - great weather, perfect location, off-season to avoid the crowds! Quick age update: A is 3.5 years, C is 22 months, B is 11 weeks.

A Big Brother's Duty

A has size as an advantage now, but C is a tough chick and will only get bigger and stronger, so he better watch out. In the meantime, he's just performing his older brotherly duties.

Brianna "Bree" Jean's Birth Day - July 1, 2009

Baby K #3 is here! Brianna Jean (her middle name is after her fraternal grandmother) arrived Wednesday, July 1st at 2:26 AM. She weighed 8lbs 3oz, is 20" long, and has lots of dark hair just like her older siblings. Her original due date was 07/11 and her scheduled delivery date was 07/08 (a c-section was determined b/c she was breech), but Bree decided to arrive earlier on her own on 07/01, a birthdate she shares with her Aunt Michele and her mommy's great friend since junior high, Sarah Ferguson. What a happy day!

Dancing Queen

Both kids love to dance (what youngsters don't?), and C really gets her booty moving when Madonna comes on. Even when she can only faintly hear a Madonna song playing in another room, she'll stop what she's doing and start shaking her groove thing.

Strasburg Railroad - "Day Out with Thomas"

We took A & C to ride on Thomas the Tank Engine, an event called "Day Out with Thomas" held at the Strasburg Railroad in the heart of Amish Country. It was a beautiful, sunny day with low humidity and a slight breeze - perfect weather for when you have to stand outside in long, crowded lines, esp when one of the attendees is 36-37 weeks pregnant. The kids had a great time, and it was so funny to see their jaws drop and their eyes widen upon seeing their favorite train.

C got her first goose-egg, and A came to the rescue with the healing powers of his "Geggy".

As if I did not have enough cleaning to do, the kids up the ante with their "Hurry! Mom is downstairs!" mischief.



C is 18-months old.
